PeelConnect Raffle
With deep gratitude and thanks to the hard work of Gayle Howson and her team, the PeelConnect Cake/Raffle Stall held at Bunnings Greenfields on Saturday 31/8/19 went extremely well. If you were a baker, seller of raffle tickets, canvassor of prizes, setter-upper of the stall, spruker to the customers of Bunnings to buy our wares, or a purchaser of cakes and/or tickets, we thank you for your time, energy and money. There was indeed a lot of hard work put into this event, and we have reaped the rewards with almost $2,000 raised toward the work of PeelConnect in the fields of homelessness, mental health, drugs and alcohol.
Special thanks goes also to Bunnings who not only provided a prize for the raffle and hosted our event, but who also did everything possible to make this a success, including allowing us to set up inside the store when the wind became way too wild in the foyer. And, thank to the many staff who supported us by purchasing delicious treats.
We could not hold a raffle without prizes and we are
extremely grateful to the businesses who provided products, and vouchers for goods and services.
